Chimney Rebuild & Restoration

Rebuild what cannot be repaired — with a written scope first.

When a chimney is leaning, the brick face is gone, or the liner is broken, repairs stop being the answer. A rebuild restores the structure from the failure point up. This is the most invasive work we do, so it always follows an on-site inspection and a written scope — never a phone quote.

Before any work

Need a Repair? Free Inspection Before We Start the Work

We look first, photograph what we find, explain the visible condition and the options, then price the work. You decide before anything begins.

Applies to the initial evaluation before applicable repair, restoration, fireplace and masonry work. Dedicated inspections — real-estate transactions and specialized Level 2 or Level 3 inspections — are separate priced services.

What we do

  • Partial rebuild above the roofline
  • Full chimney rebuild from the foundation up
  • Stainless steel liner installation and relining
  • Structural crack and lean correction
  • Historic and matched-brick restoration
  • Firebox rebuild

Signs you need this

  • Chimney leaning away from the house
  • Large sections of missing or spalled brick
  • Cracked or collapsed clay flue tiles
  • Structural cracks running through the stack
  • Repeated repairs that keep failing

Our process

  1. Step 1

    Inspect

On-site structural and camera inspection — no rebuild is quoted sight unseen.

  2. Step 2

    Scope

You receive a written scope with materials, course count and access requirements.

  3. Step 3

    Rebuild

Work is staged with protection for the roof, landscaping and interior.

  4. Step 4

    Finish

New crown, cap and waterproofing complete the system, not just the brick.

Rebuild & Restoration FAQs

Can you quote a rebuild over the phone?
No. Rebuild pricing depends on course count, access, brick match and structure. We inspect first, then give you a written scope.
Do I need a liner if I am rebuilding?
If the clay tiles are cracked or the flue is unlined, relining is part of doing the job correctly.
